This safari may only last six days but rest assured that six days is all you need to visit Kenya. The safari features two of the most popular locations - Amboseli and Maasai Mara both of which are home to many different species native to the African continent. Amboseli boasts a magnificent view of Mt.Kilimanjaro coupled with the many different animals that live within the park, making it not only a popular safari destination but also the perfect place to unwind and be far from everything for a while. Maasai Mara is mostly grassy plains that stretch far into the horizon teeming with wildlife and is known for its scenic landscapes that make great photo ops.

Itinerary

Day 1

Pick up from Nairobi and drive to Amboseli National Park. Accommodation will be provided by Kibo Safari Camp, on a full board basis. After checking in and lunch, an afternoon game drive will follow. Amboseli is popular not only because of the breathtaking views of the Kilimanjaro just about its horizon, but also because of the herds of elephants that call it their home.

Day 2

Breakfast followed by a full day game drive with a picnic in the park or an early morning game drive / evening game drive around Amboseli in search of big herds of elephants prides of lions, cheetahs, etc. Amboseli is also famous for avian wildlife.

Day 3

Breakfast then departure for Naivasha en route, see the famous Great Rift Valley. Accommodation will be provided by Lake Naivasha Sawela lodge. Lunch and then a boat ride on Lake Naivasha in the afternoon. Lake Naivasha is home to an assortment of avian wildlife which makes for spectacular views.

Day 4

Departure for Maasai Mara after breakfast through the famous Kenya’s food basket – Narok. Arriving in good time for lunch at Mara Zebra Plains Camp on a full board basis. After lunch, there will be a game drive around the Maasai Mara national reserve in search of the big five: lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalos. Get to experience the various fauna and flora within the reserve.

Day 5

Breakfast then a full day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the reserve or morning and evening game drives. With a full day spent in the Maasai Mara game reserve, you are sure to see a variety of different animal species as well as experience the beauty of the Mara.

Day 6

Breakfast then depart for Nairobi for drop-off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or at your preferred drop-off point.
