This safari will take you into the Great Rift Valley to some of the most popular locations such as Lake Nakuru which is among the most scenic in the country. The park that surrounds the lake is full of animals, particularly avian wildlife making it a paradise for bird watchers. The next stop is at one of the most iconic locations on the face of the earth, the Maasai Mara which is densely populated by an assortment of animal species including the big five (Lions, Leopards, Rhinos, Elephants, and Buffalos).

Itinerary

Day 1

You will be picked up at the airport then head for Naivasha for a hippo boat ride en route to Nakuru. You will arrive in Nakuru just in time for lunch. A game drive around the Lake Nakuru National Park in the afternoon will follow which offers an amazing opportunity to see the various land animals such as the white and black rhinos, leopards, and birds like the flamingoes there. Accommodation will be provided by Sarova Woodlands Hotel full board.

Day 2

Departure for Maasai Mara after breakfast through the famous Kenya food basket – Narok. Arriving in good time for lunch. After lunch, there will be a game drive around the Maasai Mara national reserve in search of the big five: lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalos. Get to experience the various fauna and flora within the reserve. Accommodation will be provided, full board, by AA Lodge Mara Camp.

Day 3

Breakfast will be followed by a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the reserve or morning and evening game drives. A full day spent in the Maasai Mara game reserve you are sure to see a variety of different animal species as well as experience the beauty of the Mara. You will still be staying at AA Lodge Mara Camp.

Day 4

After breakfast, we will depart for Nairobi for drop-off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or at your preferred drop-off point.
