Amboseli is to the south of Kenya, a three-hour drive away from the capital. It has been made popular not only because of the breathtaking views of the Kilimanjaro just about it's horizon, but also because of the herds of elephants that call it their home. They trek across the grassland in search of roots and bark ever so frequently as they require to consume large amounts of food to maintain their bodies. Scattered across the savanna are other species of animals such as the zebras, gazelles and with them apex predators such as lions. Amboseli is completely disconnected from any urban development as the nearest towns are kilometers away, there animals live in peace maintaining the so-called circle of life.
